So here’s the really big news from the show, at the end of the month the mighty Yahoo! will be flying me out to San Francisco to show Chatsum in their 2006 Design Expo. I’ll be at the Sunnyvale campus from 29th July to 1st August and then in downtown San Francisco until the 6th.

If anyone wants to meet up between the 2nd and 6th or knows someone or something they think I should see just drop me a line at:

Already on the list are Wendy burgers, the Golden Gate Bridge, The Sausage Factory, Purple Skunk Skate Shop and the trams! What am I missing?

  2. Good point Chris, although it’s gonna take me a while to sift though all those recommendations. I presume these ‘coffee’ houses will be able to provide me with a good cup of traditional English tea? Milk with one sugar.

  3. If you didn’t think. You can make a chat to all the users of chatsum, so they can chat all together. Maybe could be just a chat or a list of the web pages to search the comments of the chatsum users and valorate with vote and comment.
Please think about use the http://meneame.net source to evaluate all the internet sites from the chatsum web site.

  4. Maybe when you enter in a website that have comments or votes, the icon of chatsum could change of color or blink.

  5. Enjoy San Fran. I have never been there, but I will be as close as Seattle until the 29th. Enjoy yourself, and best of luck with the presentation.

Oh yeah, items 3 and 4 have nothing to do with this post. Reply to the road map, http://www.chatsum.com/blog/road-map/ , with suggestions/comments.

  6. Sean’s right Jusure, theĀ Road Map is the place for those comments but I might as well let you know that we are working on a new extension that uses the toolbar icon to alert you when other people are chatting (so you can browse with the sidebar shut) and you’ll be able to see and overview of where your buddies are too. I can’t give you a timeframe for these updates yet but they are coming.

  7. Yeah George San Fran is amazing! Try to get up to Fishermans Wharf if your in town because from there youve got http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_gate_bridge, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alkatraz and and piers all in walking distance and you can take a tram up to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lombard_Street,_San_Francisco. take a tour here :-) http://www.virtuar.com/ysf2/fishermans_wharf.htm. Or if you want to get to the coast there are a number of light house hostels to chill and collect your thoughts. Try Montara or Pigeon at http://www.norcalhostels.org/ourHostels.html. You’ll love it! Have a great time. See you soon.

  8. If you’re going to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you’re going to San Francisco
You’re gonna meet some gentle people there

For those who come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
In the streets of San Francisco
Gentle people with flowers in their hair

All across the nation such a strange vibration
    People in motion
There’s a whole generation with a new explanation
People in motion people in motion

  9. BURRITOS. This is it, and just about all you should be spending your time on. Other niceties you might want to check out is skating the Tenderloin and playing “Dodge the Junkie”. Skates on Haight and hippie-mania up there. Have fun up there George and bravo-

  11. The pirate supply store at 826 Valencia. Congrats George. This is really good news. Although probably less of a surprise for your supporters than it is for you. -k

  14. Karate is a form of martial arts in which people who have had years and years of training can, using only their hands and feet, make some of the worst movies in the history of the world.
